The library holds several Art Night programs throughout the year for children ages 4 & up. Watch our Facebook page or website for program dates & times.
Storytime for children ages 3-5 is held most Wednesdays (during the school year) at 1:30pm. Programs usually last about 30 minutes and feature stories, songs, fingerplays, and crafts. Be considerate of others and do not attend if you or your child are sick.
Registration is not required.
May 17 will be our last spring Storytime. Register for our summer reading program beginning May 15!
Summer Reading Program
Rainbow City Public Library sponsors an annual summer reading program for all ages including free weekly programs for children ages 12 & under.
Registration is required and usually begins in mid-May. Programs are free and open to all who meet the requirements.

Read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten!
Read 1000 books to your child before kindergarten!
Stop by the library to pick up a free reading log and start reading! You can count books checked out from the library or books from your own collection. If you read a book multiple times, each time counts. You may also count each RCPL book you read towards prizes in our Rainbow Reading Buddies Program!
