Rainbow City Public Library has joined with other libraries around the state to access eBooks, digital audiobooks, videos, and digital magazines powered by Overdrive.  This shared collection is called Camellia Net. In addition, the library participates in Overdrive Advantage and purchases titles that are only available for use by RCPL patrons or titles for which RCPL patrons receive priority on reserves.  Sign in to Camellia Net/Libby with your RCPL card before searching for titles to view all titles/copies that are available.    If you are accessing Camellia Net with your phone number, you will NOT receive access to all titles or copies purchased for RCPL patrons.  Some titles purchased for our Overdrive Advantage count are shared with all Camellia Net users; however our patrons receive priority access.  Other titles purchased may only be available to RCPL cardholders.  Logging in with your RCPL card may shorten the wait list on some popular titles.

This easy-to-use service is available for use 24/7 with a valid Rainbow City Public Library card in good standing.  Just log in with your 8-digit library card number.  You can enjoy materials on a variety of devices including e-readers, MP3 players, tablets, and smart phones.  Overdrive READ titles can be read in most browsers without installing software.

You may check out up to 10 titles at a time plus unlimited magazines.  The lending period can vary from title to title (maximum of 21 days).  There are no late fees on titles.
